Gina Torres to attend Burbank Convention
Huge News for Firefly Fans
Ok, so it’s not as huge as a new movie or return of the series but it’s pretty close! Creation Entertainment are running the second annual Salute to Firefly and Serenity event in Burbank CA in November, their first Firefly event held last October was a big success with Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, Summer Glau, Morena Baccarin, Sean Maher and Yan Feldman.
Guests that were announced earlier in the year for this year’s events were Adam Bladwin, Jewel Staite and Ron Glass. Recently Summer Glau was added to the line up.
The big news came through today. The latest guest to be added to the list, the lovely Gina Torres. Gina hasn’t been to a fan convention in quite some time and fans had begun to just accept that they would never have a chance to meet her. But perhaps a good experience at this event may encourage Gina to consider attending future events.
So, if you haven’t booked your ticket yet, don’t hesitate, this event will be a sell-out!
